Items not displaying in correct order on client system, but OK on Development system
Hi guys,
I'm new here, but I have been visiting for quite a while, never needed to ask a question as I could always find the answer here first.
But this answer I cannot find.
I have a series of reports that just don't display properly on the Client's machine, but display's fine on mine.
The two things that's happening is that we are using background images for all the reports (headers, footers) and the background of all those images are white, but on the client machine, the background turns a light blue colour.
The other thing is that all the columns are all over the place (once again, only on the client's machine.)
We are both using Windows XP SP2, and the reports are designed in cr8.5, program developed in VB6.
Any advise would be greatful.
P.S. I have tried using external .rpt files and also including them in the program as .DSR's, both come out identical.
P.P.S I have also tried to install all the DLL's used by cr8.5(at least the ones I could find) on the client's machine with no success.
I am thinking of upgrading to cr11, but don't know if it will fix the problem, I am downloading the trial version now.

Welcome to the forums.
Could it be some kind of internal background color setting on the client machine?

I don't think so as I have tried it out on one of my laptops and it is still the same, thats not the bothering part though, the bothering part is that the columns are all over the place, nothing is aligned.
