    Cutting Cuboids

A sculptor works with large wooden cubiods, cuts them into three smaller cuboids and then paints them black, white and grey. The volume of the black cuboid is always twice the volume of the white one and the white one is always twice the volume of the grey one.
The cuts are always parallel to the face marked with w and h. We will always denote the total surface areas as A1 for black, A2 for white and A3 for grey.

    D) The sculptor decides she would like to have A1:A3 = 4:3. If this is to be the case, find the formula linking l, w and h and give and example of the dimensions of a cuboid before it is cut for which this will work.

    Re: Cutting Cuboids

I migth be stupid enough to do someones homework, but if another guy (problably from the same course) is coming up, asking (not asking better pasting) the same question under the same title, even I get the point!
So, if you can't do your homework alone, at least use the Search Tools of this forum, before asking the ANY questions!
