Help with multi-thread app

I attached what I have. The code was not mine. I was trying to change the code to have each color in its own thread, so that I can have more than one color running at the same time.

Am I doing this correctly?
The app keeps crashing on Win 2000 and Win 98.
I'm not sure if I am closing each thread correctly, or If I am even calling the threads correctly.

Any help in the right direction would be useful.

Well I guess I have to do it using CoInitializeEx then.
