Also, difficult was avatar selection..
why its so hardcore to have a image 64 x 64 only... So hard to find one in google... man it made me learn photoshop.
PS:i think it would be good if we can increase the size of avatar a bit.

Welcome to the forums.
What were the specific details you encountered when attempting to register?

We're all about learning
When you talk about "image verification", what are you refering too? I have found this difficult on some sites, but I haven't registered with this one in a few years, so I may be misunderstanding.

Re: registration was quite difficult
Image verification is during registration to help prevent bots for creating accounts and spamming the forums. It presents a series or alphanumeric charaters in a image for the new member to type into the box so it knows its a live person.
The 64x64 avatar restriction is about average for forum sites. I have seen it as small as 50x50 and as large as 100x100.

Re: registration was quite difficult
VB is short for Visual Basic. It is assumed (I guess), since this is a VB forum, that members are using Visual Basic, and are able to provide the version they are using in order to avoid any confusion when other members answer their questions.
In practice, all the Classic VB versions are very similar, and the .NET ones vary the most. To that end, we have little option buttons for specifying your .NET versions when you create a new thread in the .NET forums.

Re: registration was quite difficult
I don't believe you had to specify a VB version.
I don't believe there is a version 3.6.5 of VB anyways.

I think the OP found a vBulletin version.
