Recommended Work Monitors
Hello peeps
Me and my collegue are getting some upgrade lcds (Finally getting rid of the CRT's) but we cant choose or find one with all round good reviews. We have £200 ish for each monitor and we want 19 inch screens, maybe a widescreen too.
Anyone got a monitor they can suggest? It for office stuff and video playback

They're generally all pretty decent these days (except maybe for Acer... I don't like them). For video playback, look for a unit with a fairly low response time, say sub-8ms.

Re: Recommended Work Monitors
17 inch widescreen viewsonic LCDs are quite affordable.

Re: Recommended Work Monitors
Read the reviews on Tom's Hardware - they usually have some info on even the latest stuff.
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
