    I went to access a data base using the visual data manager and it asked if i wanted to add the system file to the ini file, click yes or no. I cliked yes(the default). Now I can not access any data bases. i get an error everytime i try to access the visual data manager. The error is as follows.

    VisData

    The following error occured.

    Couldn't open the table 'MSysAccounts" in the workgroup information file.

    Number: 3173

    Display the data base access error, yes or no.

    Does anyone know how to undo this?

    Please help.

    thanks ,

    Jason

    Are your access databases using the security file for logging in originally?
    What appears to have happened is that you have now directed the viewer to use security, however the default user (normally Admin) probably hasn't got priviledge to read the table(s) the viewer wants.
    You appear to have two options;
    1) Set security in the system file to allow Admin (or whoever) enough access privelidges,
    2) Find the ini file for the viewer and scan for an entry containing System.mdw.

    Hope this helps!

    john.
