    Crystal: How to hide a subreport without losing its functionality?

    Crystal: How to hide a subreport without losing its functionality?
    Subreport is working out a value for a shared variable.
    but on the parent report im getting gaps because the subreport keeps growing
    even thoough im hiding everything and nothings been shown.

    Anyone know how to prevent this?

    Simple:

    1. Right click on Subreport
    2. Select: Format Subreport
    3. Go to tab: Comman
    4. Check: Suppress
