Saying thanks to vbforums
I'd like to say thanks to vbforums and all the users who answer our questions.
I try to use the resolved thread and reputation utility when I can remember, but is there some other way to give thanks to the community? Does vbforums sell swag?
Unfortunately, I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer questions, and the questions that I can answer usually get answered before I get a chance to reply (and the replies are usually better than the ones I'd give anyhow).
Any other ways to give thanks to these forums and the other users?
Pete

Moved to Forum FeedBack
We don't sell anything (or ask for donations etc), tho if you like you can click on any adverts that are appropriate to you, as they are what pays for the site to be run and maintained.
For those of us who answer questions, knowing that you are learning (and are grateful) is reward enough, and we are pleased to see threads marked as resolved etc (as it means less reading for us!).
While you can't answer questions yet (or at least quickly enough!), you will be able to one day.. almost all of us started out by asking questions, and moved on to answering when we got more knowledge.

I imagine that if a contest were opened up in CC, there would be some pretty funny shirts that people could come up with.
My usual boring signature: Nothing

I agree that the best way to say thanks is to try to help others. If not today, then in the future when you are more comfortable. This is what community is all about
