[RESOLVED] Installing Win XP SP 2 on SP1
Currently, I have Win XP Pro with SP1, and I am planning to update and install SP 2.
Do I have to take some care before installing SP 2?? Do I have to uninstall or disable SP1 before?
Thank you

Re: Installing Win XP SP 2 on SP1
SP2 includes SP1, so only the parts you don't yet have will install.
About the only thing you should be aware of is that the Windows Firewall is on by default in SP2, so you'll have to deliberately turn it off if you want it off.
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
Please indent your code and use tags around it to make it easier to read.

Exactly, this is the way to update SP1 to SP2.
As this Al42 post SP2 included SP1. So that no need to take any uninstall on SP1. Just go ahead.
