    I can open an excel file now but can i make the "find" dialouge to show when the excel file is opened?

    Also with regard to my other post "Whats Wrong With This" for some reason that "shellexecute" doesn't open .mdb files. Anyone know why?

    You need to use automation with exel for this. If you dont know, i suggest you buy a book on Automation
