VB5 & Sheridan : Cannot load control; license not found

Here's my situation. I'm currently on a Pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 2GB of RAM running Windows XP SP2. I have both VB5 & 6 installed as well as the Sheridan Widgets. All my projects work fine. I have a new computer that I will be switching to. This computer is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ (2GHz) with 2GB of RAM. Running Windows XP SP2.

I installed VB5. Then I installed the Sheridan Widgets (Calendar, Data and Designer) from the Sheridan CD.

Then I try to open a project which uses the Sheridan DataGrid (ssdatb32.ocx), and he gives me the following error : "Errors during load. Refer to '\\path\of\my\project\myform.log' for details"

In the mentionned file I can read :
Line 389: Property OleObjectBlob in ssdbgrdRetData could not be set.
Line 389: Cannot load control ssdbgrdRetData; license not found.

From the little info I managed to gather on this, it looks like it can't find the Design Time license for this control. The .oca file is present and since I've installed all this from the CD, I would think it installed the licences...

I tried merging the VBCTRLS.REG found on my VB5 CD with my registry but it didn't help. I also tried the VBUSC.EXE found on the Microsoft site to register unsupported ActiveX controls but it didn't help either.

I should mention that someone else in my department is getting a new PC (Athlon 64bits also) and has had the same problem... We can't upgrade if we can't get VB to work, and I don't remember having this problem when we installed the computers we have now, but maybe we did something different back then...

Has anyone faced this problem?

Yup.... we had to re-run a special install and then enter the license key when prompted...
