Exporting Data from one database into another
hello, everyone...
let's say i have a database, say SQL Server or MS Access.. and of course, it has data inside... and i have to export an entire table's data into a new and separate MS Access file(regardless of whether i am using sql server or also ms access)
is there a way to export the data from the main database into that new database file?
the reason i would like some help on this matter is that i have a big database that contains several tables, and there are days, like fridays(before the weekend begins) that someone will need the contents of one table to bring home or to an event to use/update/study... i would like it to be easy to handle in the sense that only the table needed is exported from the main database instead of just creating a new copy of the entire database as regular copy methods of the fso provides.
any help/ideas/code/links will be great! i'd appreciate any, really. thanks!

A couple of ways...
Copy Acces database objects: http://vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=409309
Using SQL DTS (substitute Excel with Access): http://vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=402064
Or just create a linked table in Access and copy the records from that table in Access to another one via copy/paste operation.
