Save file to desktop
Hi all, just a simple question (I hope!)
I'm writing a program and I want it to save the output .txt file to the desktop. Of couse, different computers will have different directory paths to their desktop (I.E. C:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Desktop - the username will be different in all cases).
Is there a certain command you can use to tell this system that you're looking for the desktop, regardless of the rest of the directory path? If that makes any sense. Baiscally, is there a command / key word / something to say "Desktop"?
Thanks!

Re: Save file to desktop
I searched for "Save to Desktop" (without quotes), but just got loads of threads with the words "Save" and "Desktop" randomly appearing in. I tried it with quotes and got nothing back at all, and I wans't really sure what search words to use,
But thanks for the link
