"eDataSecurity Management"
Howdy all,
Another question:
I'm getting an "eDataSecurity management" thing that comes up on my Acer Laptop whilst trying to send a file through MSN. It's telling me to setup a "Personal Security Disk" which I am less than willing to do.
If someone knows how to disable this I would be very grateful...

Re: "eDataSecurity Management"
Fortunately my acer came with a linux os. But i'm sure there would be some sort of an interface to disable that.Try looking in the control panel .

Re: "eDataSecurity Management"
There should be a file or entry named eDSloader.exe in your startup list.Removing it should disable that.
To go to startup .Start>run>msconfig>Startup

Re: "eDataSecurity Management"
Also I found this:
By default, Acer eDataSecurity Management activates encryption of files sent
via MSN Messenger. To disable this feature, open MSN Messenger, click Tools
and uncheck Enable File Transfer Encryption.
