    I want to create a program that allows me to enter data such as vacation used and calculate automatically how much vacation is left. I would be entering timesheets and want to know if I should use a database in Access or would Excel be easier?

    Hi,

    that mostly depends on the number of timesheets you want to store. If you only have 5 or 10 sheets, Excel is probably easier and faster. If you have some 100s of records, use a database.
