Does anyone know how to specify which icon should be used by Windows (like whenever a user uses alt-tab to move between program)? The right icons are showing up in the program, task bar, shortcuts, etc. But I get the flying windows when using Alt-Tab.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug

this might be because your icon for the taskbar it is a 16x16 pixel size but to show up in alt-tab in need to be a 32x32 pixel icon so if yo change it to this size it should work

Is there a way I can check that right now?
I am at work using WinNT4.0 and the only graphics program on here is "Paint". It only opens bitmaps (as far as I know).
I remember seeing a thread somewhere about how to designate which icon the system will use, but can't remember where it is.
Thanks,
Doug

there is a program on your vb cd that is used to make the icons at any size that you want, you may find it a little more useful, if you want i can email it to you if you want, what is your email address, BTW the program is called imagedit

Thanks. I was able to open the zip file, but not the icons. Apparently they aren't in the proper 3.0 format. Some gave an error stating they weren't in 3.0 format, others came up as an unknown format. :-(
Any other ideas :-)
Thanks.

I tried that, but wasn't able to open the file again. When I choose New, it doesn't give me the option of opening the file. I don't have anything else I can open it with in order to copy and paste either. :-)
Any other ideas :-?
Thanks for the help

Thanks. The file is on its way. I may have been doing something wrong when trying to open it, but I don't think so.
