Unhappy Query a mapped drive for connection information - HELP PLEASE

    Hi,

I'm trying to get the current state of a mapped drive. For example:

    1. Disconnected
    2. Connected
    3. Access Denied
    etc, etc...

I've been struggling for a while and not found anything....

Re: Incorrect errors when evaluating mapped drive

The problem is with the CprgNetShareGetInfo object, not your VB code.

Hi Bruce, is that class only for Windows 2000?

Re: Query a mapped drive for connection information

It was a class module which I found on the net. I'm after a API call or routine which can let me know if a network drive (M or UNC PATH (\\server\share) is either disconnected, connected, access denied, etc..

    PLEASE HELP ME!
