Package & Deploy...error after setup

Thank you for your time.

I use VB 6 and after using the Package and Deployment wizard I get the usual setup files.

Problem is when I use the setup program, it loads correctly but when I go to the computer: Start>Programs (and then locate the installed program) and click the 'installed program' I get the error that the computer can't find the shortcut for the program and the computer browses for the short cut.

I know I can select browse and point it to the program, however, I need to send the program to another individual.

Can someone help?

Welcome to VBF!

Maybe somebody won't agree with me but because of situations like yours i'm using 3rd party installation tools, like Inno Setup, Nullsoft Install... They're free and you usually don't have any problems
