    Communicate to a Device

    I have one usb device without drivers and sdk. Is there any possiblility of writting driver for that devie or any way to communicate to that...any ideas or codes or links are welcome

    PS:That device is bio-metric finger print device and an obsolute model hence, no support from the manufaturer...

    Sure, it is possible.
    But you need to know how the device talks to the computer.

    how do i know that...upto my knowledge, it reads the finger print of a person and sends it to a pc via an usb cable...thats all i know...

    Hello.
    Even if as you said, there is no support from the vendor, you should be able to find something in the internet. You need a command list for that device. I think that without it it will take years guessing. Good luck
