Angry Drag n Drop is causing me headaches !

I have a flexgrid, well actually I have 10-Techs excellent iGrid control, but thats no matter.

I have highlighted all the cells, and have opened up an Excel workbook and sat myself in a particular cell.

I want to paste the contents of the grid using drag and drop.

Can someone PLEASE help me out here as I can't make any sense of it at the moment.

If its any help, I have successfully highlighted al the cells on the grid and executed a command called iGrid.OLEDRAG.

Theres a DROPMODE I need to set to 1, but I can't work out whether thats for Excel (I think it is, but can't find where to set it), or the grid itself.

    Aaaaaaaaarggggggggghhhhhhhh !

OK let me try asking this from a different angle ...

How would I go about dropping a load of cells into a spreadsheet ?
My vb app opens Excel and loads a workbook, then sits on a specific cell. If I can get the "dragging" part working from the grid in my app, how would I go about telling it to "drop" it once I have Excel open and with the focus ?

All I can find is dragging between listviews.

Is what I am attempting even possible ?
