Packaging the application
Hi all,
I've just finished contracting my application and it's working perfectly. Now I would like to put it on other machines to be used by other people.
How do I make sure that it does not give any errors looking for dlls and stuff? Basically how do I package the application into an exe that'll just run without asking the user to install anything?
Regards,

Re: Packaging the application
There is a Deployment specifically for questions like that. This the VB.NET langauge forum, which that question is not related to.
The answer really depends on what dependencies your application has and what version of the IDE you are using. Did you reference any third-party libraries, particularly COM components?

Yes I did. The problem however is that I do not know what to do. In VB.net ... I went, "Build Solution" then copied everything from the "bin" folder to another machine and tried running it. It gave me some obbe message of wanting to debug.
