    Fax Voip

    Hi there,
    I've got a VoIP gateway ( AudioCodes mediant 2000 ), Whit this gateway i already make voip calls.
    I need to send fax by using this gateway, is this possible ?

    I tought that there are 2 methods to send a Fax on Internet :

    1) by using FoIP ( Fax Over IP ) but this method needs the the receiver too has the FoIP Gateway.

    2) an other way is sending fax using VoIP and streaming the fax coded with codec g.711 to a fax number.

    is there some one who can help me?

    I've sent Fax over VoIP by just connecting a Fax modem to the POTS line coming from the VoIP modem.
    The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
    The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
    Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
