The design phase [HELP]

I'am lost guys i need your support
I've done a database application now i need to do its documentation that should contain all the steps of the software development life cycle.
Ive done the planning and feasibility study now i need to do the design phase.

But i don't know how to start it..what should i write on the design process??

First of all, you need all kinds of diagrams which you can easily do with MS Visio, ER-Diagram, Data Dictionary, UML Diagram, some might want DFD...
Well, the rest depends on your major if you are a student, or ask someone familiar with the procedures in you faculty

How did you arrive at completing the DB project without design specs? That was what you were supposed to be "creating" during the research phase of the project that would then drive the development phase of the project...

Its a small program and i did all the diagrams (including class, case ..etc) that ComputerJy has specify above starting..

As for your problem, I'm not sure exactly what your'e looking for, but you can start with the Requirements Analysis.
