    I have created an Access database located on a network server in a shared folder. The purpose of this database is to keep logon information from a simple first, last, id nuumber, and period form. Each student needs to simply type in his/her information and the application will store it in the next available record. I can open it as an administrator, but when my students attempt to open it, I receive an error. Therefore, they never get the chance to enter information.

    I'd first check with your system administrator to see if the users have the proper rights to this folder - also take a look at the mapping.

    Make sure your Access database is shared. The default is not-shared so chances are, this is your problem.
