    VB6/VB.NET/Java Coder

    Hello, I am seeking relatively small projects. My primary skills are in the utilization of TCP/IP communications, such as in the application of protocols such as HTTP, IRC, SMTP, etc. and custom applications requiring network (likewise, Internet-based) communication -- ie: use of sockets.

    I have 5+ years of experience with VB6, 2+ with VB.NET, and 2 years experience with Java (although I have completed formal courses in Computer Science 1 & 2 [Java-based], and have honed my skills greatly with my small IRC-based project, http://local-boat.net/).

    I will not accept any projects that I am sketchy on, or know I cannot perform well in. That is, you shouldn't fear me accepting *everything* tossed at me, even if I can't do it!
