    Resolved [RESOLVED] Installlation problem

    hi i have a problem when tryin to install my application i put my code in select the location i need to install it to but ass soon as the install is gonna start its says this

    C:\Progra~1\symantec\s32.evnt.dll. an installable virtual device driver failed dll initialisation

    any help would be greatly appreciated

    did you create an installation package for your application?

    ill put it simply this is what i do before it says what it says lol

    1. click on setup
    2. then i accpet terms and conditions
    3. insert key code, and name
    4. place where i want the program to be installed to
    5. when i start the installation process this problem occurs as soon as i start it

    oops i forgot to mention, this happens when im tryin to install VB 6.0 lol this error comes up when im trying to install visual basic 6.0

    Then that looks like an illegal copy. VB6 doesn't install Virus Software expecially Symantec. Microsoft would not do that!!!!
