    breaking files

    thanks,... It helped

    I have a file which contains data with carriage returns( i think square boxes it has is carriage return) in it. file has a single line.I have to break the file near carriage return. I am reading each line information into a form in vb , add some more data and write to another file.

    can anyone help.
