com add for word 2000 tutorials
hi there
ive just finished creating a com add in for outlook, i now need to convert it to be fit for use with office (excel, word initially)
does anyone know of some good tutorials out there, i have found loads, but they arent up to much
prefereably with some good code examples and caveats to watch out for, and details of the office object model,
many thanks

I'm not completely sure what kind of tutorial you are looking for.
Writing add-ins for Excel/Word?
Using COM objects with Excel/Word?
Using an Outlook add-in with Excel/Word?
?

Re: com add for word 2000 tutorials
theres a diffrecne!!
i dont suppose you would define briefly what the difference is between a com and an addin
i am using vb6, and creating a new addin, compile to a dll, then i register it as a com on install.
anyhows, i will bewriting a word specific addin/com, an excel specific addin, though using code form my outlook addin ive already written.
any help would be appreciated
many thanks
Jamie
