Right now I have developed a prototype of an application in VB 6 with no data behind it. I was wondering if I could use Access 97' for the database and then make it one standalone executable. The reason is that I don't want to have to install Access on every computer that I want to run it on. If you can contact me I would be most appreciative.

Yes, you do not need Access to have a VB app use Access tables. I have found that during development it's very nice to have Access available on the system, though.
