    Hi,

I have a oracle user SCOTT with password TIGER.
    The password has expired yesterday.

Can i know of any way to write a VB program to connect to ORACLE database and assign a new password to the user SCOTT.

I know we can connect thru ADO using OLEDDB and ODBC, but we need to know the username and password before we connect to the database.

Some of my friends told me we can do this by OCI(Oracle call interface) or some API's of the ODBC, but they never did it before.
Can any body help me in this as soon as possible.

    Thanks,
    Srini
