So I see Opera releases "Opera mini" and I decide to try the Acid2 test with it on my blackberry 7520 (piece of crap) And.. Evil ernie shows his face? Some web dev must have a sense of humor over there. Although when I select "take the test" it does APPEAR to look normal, but I can't tell if I'm looking at the reference or not. Anyone care to try it with a wap enabled phone?
I am pretty sure they have not passed it yet. But don't have my phone right here to test it either. And they have done funny things like that in the past. Just remember version 7, which translated MSN.com to the way the swedish chef in The muppet show talks, just because MS blocked the Opera browser out of MSN.com.
PS: The picture you have there? What is that? It doesn't look like the Acid2 test if that is what you are asking...
Opera's Mini browser and now, recently, their Technical Preview of Opera 9 passes as well.
Opera is the first browser maker to pass with a mobile browser and the second with a desktop browser (Safari was first, however; I believe there is a slight scrolling bar that shouldn't be there)

I blogged about it a few days ago. It passes 100%. It is a very fragile test, so you have to have your screen resolution correct, and no touching of the mouse.
It is not the second browser that managed it though. iCab and Konqueror had a photofinish on it...
