Should a variable capacitor of 7 plates(a a bunch of half circle plates where each second can be rotated) be considered as 6 of serial connected capacitors? Ok i know it is, but i'm not sure <-- another stupid comment

writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13

If I remember right...
Not serial, parallel. The more plates you have, the greater the area of dielectric between those plates. If I remember right, the capacitance of a capacitor is directly proportional to the area of seperated plates, which is like a parallel circuit, where C = C1+C2.

You brought me memories of the 70´s!
Variable capacitors! In this age of digitally tuned everything!
Remember the 6BQ5? The 6L6?
