Thread: locking

    I have an access app. All that its used for is quiries and reporting from a SQL db. However this can cause one of the SQL tables to lock. Any ideas on how i can get round this.

    At the moment i am using an odbc connection. I have to use access because that is what they want

    if it is reporting only, can you set your
    SQL so that it is READONLY?

    Not sure because i am not familiar with
    SQL database.
