Quest for 3-D
OK allright, some of you may have looked at my game in my sig. If not check it out. I have more done now but havent udated.
I really dont expect much from this request but hey I can atleast try. Ok well got my "game engine" working pretty good right now. I can very very easily add art and edit the maps of the game without any neccesary coding!
What I am asking for is anyone who would like to help with art, story, mapmaking/editor (I have some of the editor done but only about 50%). Maybe even some coding.
Of course I will greatly credit all who help. And I have high hopes to actually finish the game.
Gameplay will be like "zelda" where enemys are walking around and the levels are in the same format as zelda.
Well if anyone wants to help I will provide the source and graphics maps all that crazy stuff.
Oh and I also need sound effects and music. I have it programmed already, but I need better stuff.
Alright If any interest just post or send me a PM.
Thanks!

Re: Quest for 3-D
I played it the other day. When you're asked by the second guy whether or not to let him join, as soon as you move into the next room; I got problems. The room was entirely lack except for the guy on the other end and my character. I could move, but it was leaving a trail of images everywhere I went.
All in all though, it's cool.

woah woah woah... did you play the vb version, not the old qb one? I know the qb had problems but I am asking for help with the vbone. And soon I will update it, cause I have music sound effects, you can move rocks, and I can have about 40 enemys walking around and it dosent affect frame rate.
Before I release "Ver. 2.0" Im going to impliment a health system, and a way you can defeat the enemy. I already have the colision done, just need a good sound, maybe a cool graphic effect, and some loss of health which will show on the side.
So if anyone is interested in helping I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm a currently enrolled in the final semester of my multimedia prereq leading into my B.S. in digital entertainment and game design. I'd be happy to offer some artwork assistance if you're actually intending to go fully 3-D with the game.
