Uninstall Folders in WinXP
What are those for exactly and do I really need them? I mean they are hidden files but come on... are they really necessary?

Re: Uninstall Folders in WinXP
They probably just contain the Add/Remove wizard information which you need to uninstall applications.

So then I probably shouldn't delete them shoud I? lol
I've been going on a deletion spree lately and anything that I find that seems to take a decent amount of space on my local hard disk I'm getting rid of it unless it's like a vital application like DevC++ or Microsoft Office (I know I probably should be using OpenOffice but the university doesn't agree with me on that one)

Probably not, unless it's left over from an uninstall you've already done. Windows games is always a good one if you need room. They take up something like 15MB!
