[RESOLVED] duel channel ram
can a duel channel ddr400 pc3200 (2x512) 1 gig ram work on a motherboard that supports ddr400 pc3200 ram but doesnt say it supports duel channel. i know duel channeling wouldnt work but would it still read as 1 gig of ram? im thinking that duel channel just means it goes faster or what have you.
edit: or do all motherboards support duel channeling and just not say it?
reedit: any of these http://www.pcprodirect.com/product_i...fo=1&PRID=5554

Re: [RESOLVED] duel channel ram
The would both still show the full 1Gb RAM, as they both support it.
You may want to consider goijg to the official asus website and looking the model numbers up
