    Angry perl: please help!

    I am trying to encrypt passwords for my website. i was told to download the crypt::Passwdmd5 module from cpan.

    i did this. it came in the .tar.gz format.

    I used gzip to make the file a .tar file.

    I then downloaded and installed tar app to unpack the file.

    However whenever i type the command to unpack the file, it gives me an error and exits.

    I have been trying for hours!!!

    please could someone tell me what to do...

    or better would anyone just send me the file(s) i need to put in the perl lib directory ready unpacked. through email, or just attach it to this thread.

    Any help would be SOOOOO appreciated. Its doing my head in!!!!!!!

    What error do you get?
    PHP || MySql || Apache || Get Firefox || OpenOffice.org || Click || Slap ILMV || 1337 c0d || GotoMyPc For FREE! Part 1, Part 2

    | PHP Session --> Database Handler * Custom Error Handler * Installing PHP * HTML Form Handler * PHP 5 OOP * Using XML * Ajax * Xslt | VB6 Winsock - HTTP POST / GET * Winsock - HTTP File Upload

    Latest quote: crptcblade - VB6 executables can't be decompiled, only disassembled. And the disassembled code is even less useful than I am.
