o.k I'm really new to this as you might of gathered!

What i need to know is when I open Visual Interdev it asks me for a web server. Now i just want too muck around and get used too it is there anyway i can just do this without putting my web servers address on it?

Is there any good tutorials on the web i should look at?

Also how do you close a page after opening a new one?

I'd recommend running Personal Web Server of the NT equivalent and giving localhost as your webserver.

You can check out www.learnasp.com for ASP ideas/help/advice/links - but I don't think there's anything about setting up webservers for ASP there.

    3) Also how do you close a page after opening a new one?

Not exactly sure what you're asking here...you can press CTRL+F4 or click the MDI child window close button to close a 'page' in InterDev - if that's what you're asking.

    Hope this helps,
    Paul
