New Mail Notification

I wanted to know how to display a notification box using VB , like we get in yahoo messenenger when a new mail arrives.

You need to be a bit more specific? What's the problem, displaying the notification, or knowing when a new message arrives? If the latter, what is your email host, what protocol, etc.?

Edit: and what version of VB?
