    High Resolution Image Printing [RESOLVED]

    Hello everybody,

I have an image of resolution 300dpi with size 3.125 X 2 inches. This image needs to be printed on the same size with the same resolution. When I put my image on my web page as background image of table, the size of the image is too large. If I reduce the dpi, then the size is controlled but the quality of the image is reduced and not applicable for the printing purpose.

    Any ideas ??

    Thanks.

If it is made as a background, I don't think it will print at all.

Re: High Resolution Image Printing [URGENT]

I checked the print background images option in my Internet Explorer and told the client to do so. I have checked print out for other images and its working.

    Thanks.

Very well, but that's never worked for me.

Show us your HTML, with the image and the table and anything relevant.

I did not test it for other browsers, but for Internet Explorer, background images print well. Anyways, I resolved my problem using a DHTML layer.

    Thanks a lot.
