Virtual CD Software
I have loads of ISO images on my PC and hate the fact that I have to cut them to a CD before using them. Usually I kept the odd CD-RW spare because these were one time installs.
However, I have found a program which enables you to mount ISO images into a Virtual CD Driver without having to burn them to CD. You can have up to four virtual devices and the program is free. Beware, this tool is classed as adware if you choose the search bar and save now software when installing, Install only the core software if you don't want the ads.
Hope this solves the problems of a few others too: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/down...tegory&catid=5

Alcohol 120% (http://www.alcohol-soft.com/) is a little bit better, not only can it mount images but it can also make ISO's and burn them to! It also has support for the major protection schemes, so you can copy whatever you have. I think it can even do PS disks, never tried it with PS disks before though.
It also has a GUI which will keep track of all the images you mount so you can easily mount them later with the click of a button .

I think some of them require that it be on a CD (real or virtual) because of some copy protection BS.

Re: Virtual CD Software
I've disable DaemonTools, but it still shows up as my F: drive. I partitioned my hard drive aferward, so now I have a G: drive. that might have something to do with it.

for those who really want to use Alcohol, that 120% works only if you have CD-RW. you can download Alcohol 52% which can work with both CD-R and -RW.

What do you mean, I've burned CD-R's before using Alcohol 120%. I did have a CD-R/RW drive, but that shouldn't make a difference.
