    Excel Combo Box Update

    I have an Excel book (Book1) with a combo box on a sheet. Thsi combo box points at values from a another book, say Book2.

    If Book1 is opened first, the combo box remains empty.

    Can this be avoided or fixed?

    You could use cells in Book1 to be linked to Book2 and use Book1's linked cells as your Combo box reference
