    not language specific p2p email

    if I wanted to write a p2p email application, what kind of obstacles would I face? One thing I have realized is that if a persons pc is off, the user wont get the email message. Also, if it is p2p, how will one have a unique email address. Does anyone see a way around these obstacles? What if I create a email address registration server?

    Who here thinks p2p mail is a good idea?
