Replies and Timeouts ???
I hope it's just me but it takes awhile to post reply - especially in VB.Classic and Chit-Chat.

Re: Replies and Timeouts ???
Things seem to be zipping right along for me this morning. What do you mean by "a while"?

I've experienced that, but it isn't happening for me today.
You mentioned ClassicVb and Chit Chat. Are the rest of the forum sections getting your posts quickly?

Re: Replies and Timeouts ???
There was a problem with the VB Wire News feed last night but its fixed now. it was making the page loads hang for about 30 seconds or so. Did you notice if the news was missing?

Re: Replies and Timeouts ???
It's difficult to judge because it's inconsistent (delay) but in VB and CC it was noticeable so I figured I ask.

It could be your ISP.
Who is your current provider?

Re: Replies and Timeouts ???
ISP is out of question - we have "full speed" T1 here. That's VBF that gives the headach, though.

Re: Replies and Timeouts ???
Just a tidbit - my understanding is that our tech guys have put some programs in place to monitor response speeds on our sites. If the delays are hardware related on our site and continue, they should get flagged. I know we are investing in a number of new servers across several sites. This should also end up impacting this one too.
Brad!
