    Resolved [RESOLVED] Installation Error Help!

    I got a new laptop and was installing VB.net 2003, and I accidentally knocked out the ac. Now when I go to load the disk 1 start up disk, I get an error that says "another program needs to have the system restart" I now get this error no matter what. It is a unique error to this computer. I tried to run this disk on another machine and its fine. Is there some thing I can clear to get this to run??

    Windows Installer thinks there is an installation incomplete. Exactly where it stores that info I wouldn't know, but I'd guess that it's in the registry somewhere.

    Found the solution: Delete ----> PendingFileRenameOperations

    File located in :
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\
