Info with command prompt

Without knowing what you are looking for it is hard to answer the question. NBTSTAT will give you some netbios information.

Hello thanks for the reply ,I was hoping i could get info on installed hardware but its got to be within the cmd prompt no externals ie msinfo and a like.its a college thing.......Please

I don't think there's an easy way to get that info, you could probably get it out of the config files. You could also roughly figue out what hardware was installed by searching for drivers.

Download Scriptomatic2 from Ths Scripting Guys. They work for Microsoft, and have a program that does everything under the sun, practically. The scripts run from the command prompt if you use cscript.exe, which you can also find on their site.
