New to FTP, please help!
Hi Guys,
I've written a simple application that outputs some data to text files, the next step is that the application needs to place the files on an FTP site.
This is where I'm stuck - I need to setup a test FTP environment on my machine, can it be done?
from my limited understanding of FTP I know I need an FTP server and client. Is it possible to enable my machine to run an FTP server which I can Upload/Download the files to/from?
Thanks a million.
BTW: Is anyone else having trouble with the search facility?

Yes it is possible, Serv-u this is a great FTP server.
Or even Filezilla, they make both a FTP client and FTP server.
You should try looking on pscode.com for a sample FTP client so you can upload whatever you need to the server.
