Morality: Objective, or Subjective

Is morality objective or subjective?

Is there a given set of moral rules that all humans are duty bound to adhere?

If so then at least a subset of morality must be objective, otherwise it's subjective and down to individual whims.

Morality is wholly subjective - we are each free do to as we choose. Whether another person finds those actions morally acceptable is down to their own subjective view of morality.
In order to keep the peace, however, we have defined a set of rules (the law) which we enforce (the rozzers) in order to be as broadly in keeping with a vague communal sense of morality as we can. Not everyone may find robbery and murder morally unacceptable, but we generally assume that the majority of people find it so and hence we make it against our law.
But laws change - it was only six or seven years ago that the UK abolished the death penalty, but three hundred years ago executions were entertainment.
Ultimately, the only laws (and rights) are those we make for ourselves, but it makes some sense to try to set them up to ensure as peaceful a life as we can for everyone who has to participate therein.
