What Version of ADO do you use
Post your version preference for ADO.
I always used to use the highest (2.8 right now), but some other programmers have told me that they don't trust it.
Does anyone else use a lesser version out of stability fears?

Yes, usually most programmers wait for a new version to become stable with any updates or service packs. I use 2.7 SP1 but will be upgrading soon to 2.8 when I get some free time.

Re: What Version of ADO do you use
I use ADO.NET with utter disregard to the version number.

What about 1.1 or 2.0 ? Besides he was asking about ADO and not .NET

ADO can mean ADO.NET just like VB can mean VB.NET

Re: What Version of ADO do you use
There is no choice - my customers have Windows Server 2003 - which must have 2.8 installed.
As a matter of fact, there is an upgrade bug from Server 2000 to 2003, in that if you do not upgrade to 2.8 prior to the Server upgrade, then MDAC fails until you fix some registry issues...

I forgot to add, I was demonstrating my superiority, which should be quite apparent by now.
