Re: C# 2005
You can create web apps with C#, as well as the other tools available in Visual Studio.
If you have C# questions, there is a forum section for them.
Do you have a web app that you want to create using one of the Visual Studio tools?

I think he's talking about the 2005 line of products coming out. And I believe that you'll have to purchase the Web Developer product for asp.net projects, you cannot use C# standard for this.

I've got 2005 beta 2, you can create anything with it, web, windows, web services, windows services, database projects, mobile apps I think it will even make a decent Christmas Cake.
I hate using 2003 at work now, I'm a real 2005 convert, generics are great, so is refactoring and all the other new bits.

Beta 2 of what? If it's Visual Studio then that incorporates Visual Web Developer. I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain that the individual VB.NET and C# products will not create Web applications. Otherwise, why would VWD exist?

Yes, Visual Studio.
With any of the individual language IDE's you can create any applications you want, just it will take more work.
Appropriate references will not be added automatically, in Web References WSDL's will not be processed automatically as they are in VWD.
If you want you can create anything by writing your code in notepad and using a command line compiler, but if you want to do that you should probably get out more or buy a telly.

VS.NET 2005 was RTM'd on Friday, I have it, but will be shipped in december!
That also applies for SQL Server 2005

That's just showing off and completely unnecessary.
